Paranormal Encounters, Urban Legends & Supernatural Phenomena:
Based on real paranormal events, urban legends, and horror folktales from around the world, Fragments of Nightmares is an anthology series comprised of ten authentic horror stories.
Vividly written to engage the mind’s eye, each story’s theme was carefully chosen to create an experience the reader won’t soon forget.
Loosely based on the Japanese urban legend, Kashima Reiko, The Fall of a Tyrant (the first story in this installment) is a supernatural revenge thriller about a tyrannical executive whose assistant commits suicide and returns from the afterlife to teach her boss a lesson.
Watch for the next installment in the nightmare series, Fragments of Nightmares Tales of the Preternatural: Phobias and Anomalies, Vol. 2
There’s nothing fragmented about Brandon L. Pennick’s collection of nightmares and other horrors, Fragments of Nightmares: Tales of the Supernatural, Vol. 1. Each story adds its influence to the collective whole in decidedly unique and wickedly fun ways. From the dark flash of “The Fall of a Tyrant” (Brandon L. Pennick) to chillingly surreal “The Boy Who Loved Dolls” (Horace Torys) you will find ample scares for night-time reading … if you dare! Exceedingly well-written and polished, “Five Questions” also by Horace Torys feels shockingly real.
I highly recommend this book. 5/5. I, for one, can’t wait for Volume 2!
